Meet the Herd

The Animals of the Ranch

Each species plays a part in the natural cycle of our farm. Together, they build soil, manage pastures, and create the abundance that sustains us all.

Kune Kune Pigs

Our heritage Kune Kune pigs are gentle, intelligent grazers that add organic matter to the soil and thrive on grass alone. Known for their friendly temperament and exceptional flavor.

Chickens

Our laying hens follow the pigs through the pastures, scratching through manure, spreading fertility, and producing golden-yolked eggs from a life well-lived outdoors.

Horses

Our horses move through the oak woodlands and meadows, helping manage vegetation and connecting us to the deep history of working the land in this corner of Sonoma County.

Herding Dogs

Our skilled herding dogs are the rancher's right hand — reading the herd with intelligence and instinct, keeping the daily flow of farm life moving safely and calmly.

Coka

Our beloved Great Pyrenees guardian, Coka, watches over the entire flock and herd day and night — a noble, steadfast protector born for this mountain land.
